Title Front End Manager Pay Grade: Non-Exempt Major Department: Front End: Minor Department: Front End: Reports to: Store Manager: Job Summary: The Front End Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests at the POS (Point of Sale) and at the Customer Service Desk. They ensure each customer leaves Pete’s Fresh Market with an outstanding experience, while delivering a fast, friendly, and accurate transaction. They oversee and manage the front end team (cashiers, baggers, and cart attendants) while ensuring they comply with the company’s operating policies and procedures. They are responsible for all opening or closing procedures in the front end, including but not limited to balancing cash drawers and the safe, preparing the store’s daily deposits, completing all necessary administrative tasks. As a team member of Pete’s Fresh Market it is important that Pete’s Four Pillars of Value, Aesthetic, Quality, and Customer Service are always exemplified.
