Maintenance Apprentice

Job description

We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Apprentices, based at the Wrexham site, who are interested in an electrical or mechanical engineering career working within a challenging multi skilled maintenance environment. We will be offering an Electrical or Mechanical biased apprenticeship in maintenance engineering. The maintenance apprenticeship will train the individuals to work within a maintenance team whose responsibility is to safely and efficiently maximise the reliability of our cable manufacturing machinery. Working Week: Monday to Friday Number of Hours per Week: 37 hours Future prospects: The company employs engineers of a range of levels across its activities – in manufacturing, maintenance, research, development, and installation. Apprentices completing the training period may be offered positions in these areas if suitable positions are available. Position duration: The position is offered for the duration of 3 or 4 years on the basis that the apprentice will be provided training and development during the period.
