Position Summary The Operations Management Trainee participates in a training program designed to develop individuals into frontline manager roles. As an Operations Manager Trainee, you will learn the responsibilities and functions performed by an Operations Manager through on-the-job training. This training program lasts 12 months and will prepare you to effectively handle the day-to-day operations at a Casella division. Successful completion of this program will result in a management position in operations at a division within Eastern Region our business footprint which includes Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Key Responsibilities: - Learns how to perform ongoing operational analysis to maximize the utilization of company resources, operate too maximum efficiencies, and asset utilization. - Gains and understanding of DOT & OSHA safety programs and systems, operational business processes, systems & tools, performance, management, and maintenance processes. - Grasps how to drive change management initiatives to introduce and sustain new processes that contribute to the growth and durability of the operations of the business unit. - Collaborates with all frontl...
