Description The Safety Director will be responsible for developing a culture of safety across all units of the organization. This position will develop and implement safety plans to mitigate risks in each program area and ensure the physical and emotional safety of all staff and clients. Primary Responsibilities/ Tasks: - Develop and promote a culture of safety across all organizational units to ensure the physical and emotional safety of staff and clients. - Design and implement comprehensive safety plans and risk mitigation strategies for each program area. - Conduct facility assessments, emergency drills, and monthly safety site visits with actionable recommendations. - Ensure all building permits, fire inspections, and health inspections remain current and compliant. - Partner with property management to maintain facilities in optimal condition through preventative maintenance routines. - Oversee vehicle fleet safety, maintenance, and driver readiness to ensure safe client transportation. - Deliver and coordinate safety training for staff and drivers, including onboarding, OSHA compliance, CPR, active shooter response, and child abuse prevention. - Ensure organizational complia...
