Position: Adjunct Assistant Professor, Certified Nurse Aide Department: Academic Affairs: Type of Position: Adjunct Faculty: Exemption Status: Exempt: Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No: Starting Salary Range: AJCR $1,208-$1,344 per credit hour and in accordance with the adjunct table and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume. Position Summary: The Adjunct Assistant Professor, Certified Nurse Aide, is responsible for facilitating class lectures, labs, and clinical instruction of health occupations students during fall, spring, and/or summer semesters. Required Qualifications: - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas, or Multi-State Licensure, or have the qualifications to obtain licensure in Kansas as a Registered Nurse. - 2 -5 Years of experience as a nurse in long-term care nursing. - Experience in supervising CNAs and/or LPNs. - Continuing education about person-centered care. - Excellent Communication skills. - Comfortable with technology.
