Job Title: Millwright Department: Maintenance: Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor: Millwright Position Overview: The Millwright at Chance Aluminum will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment and mechanical systems throughout the facility. This role supports production by minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and contributing to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. Millwright Essential Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair all mill related systems. - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned outages. - Troubleshoot mechanical failures using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. - Disassemble and reassemble machinery with precision to manufacturer specifications. - Use hand tools, power tools, welding, and fabrication equipment to make repairs and modifications. - Ensure equipment alignment, leveling, and balancing for safe and efficient operation. - Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. - Collaborate with electricians, engineers, and other maintenance staff to complete repairs and improvements. - Document maintenance activiti...
