Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to Service Maintenance Zone Technician - Ladies Residence Halls The Zone Tech I is responsible for performing basic maintenance in the buildings assigned to them, reporting new work orders, completing assigned work orders, supervising student and GA workers, and responding to emergency calls. Provides technical support and operational assistance within the ladies’ residence halls. Maintain Assigned Buildings: Perform general maintenance (not requiring a skilled trade) in assigned buildings. Recognize and report changes in buildings, perform minor cleanups, and remove, report & document safety hazards. Report and Complete Work Orders: Inform the Maintenance Helpdesk of work needing to be performed as well as safety hazards that must be resolved. Complete Work Orders in adherence to ministry standards. Accurately record in the maintenance database the current status of any work taking place, keep detailed log entries in the database as work progresses, and record time spent on each job.
