Senior Project Engineer - Water Resources

Job description

RK &K is currently hiring a Senior Water Resources Project Engineer to work in our Richmond, Virginia office. This Senior Project Engineer should have experience with some or all of the following areas to support municipal and transportation project designs: Stormwater Management conveyance and BMP designs, Erosion and Sediment Control, Hydrology & Hydraulics Design, Floodplain/Scour Modeling, and Watershed Studies for various exciting projects throughout Virginia and surrounding States. Essential Functions: - Develop, evaluate and design stormwater management facilities to support municipal and transportation infrastructure projects across RK&K’s vast portfolio - Design and produce engineering drawings for culverts, channels, storm sewers; and related - 1D and 2D Floodplain modeling using programs such as HEC-RAS and PCSWMM - Attend and present project status updates at client meetings; Provide excellent client services with a focus on quality and timeliness - Meet and work directly with other design team members including project managers, project engineers, design technicians, drafters, surveyors, contractors, inspectors, public agency officials, and clients - Develop civil engi...
