Phlebotomist - Float (Eastern Suffolk County)

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team at Eastern Suffolk County. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm and rotating Saturdays Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed . Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency 1 year or more of experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards: Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or experience as a phlebotomist is required Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; bot...
