Dean of Graduate Studies (Administrator III) Compensation and Benefits: The anticipated hiring salary is $155,000 - $175,000 per year and is competitive and negotiable depending on the strength of qualifications. This is a CSU Management Personnel Plan (MPP) position. The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary: The Dean of Graduate Studies reports directly to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and provides leadership to the graduate mission of the University and of the Division of Graduate Studies. Specifically, the Dean is responsible for creating a climate for expanding the quality and currency of graduate programs and oversight of related policies and procedures.
