SON – Solution Engineer

Job description

Nokia of America Corporation , SON – Solution Engineer (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX. Perform installation and commissioning of Self Optimizing Network (SON) products and systems. Participate in SON product software upgrades and ensure 24x7 end-to-end technical support. Maintain lab servers to proper hardware, software and firmware levels for use in testing and problem-solving scenarios. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. Troubleshoot issues, conduct knowledge sharing sessions, and determine need for technical escalations. Implement continuous improvement practices for SON products and related systems to address high process efficiencies. Implement proactive measures to address customer concerns.
