Job description

Basic Purpose Leads, motivates, and directs the efforts of project management and other staff responsible for developing and executing corporate strategic initiatives or major projects. Ensures the safe, timely and economic completion of major projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Directs development of project plans, including project scope, cost estimates, schedule, and cash flow. Supports development, approval, and administration of business cases and applicable ten-year plan. Directs execution of project plans upon approval. - Coordinates acquisition of human resources, equipment, material, permits, land, and land rights. - Monitors and controls project plans, including safety, scope, cost, schedule, cash flow, quality, and risk. Measures and communicates project performance to customers and stakeholders. Manages changes to the project plan. Ensures all project objectives are achieved. Coordinates project close-out, including final acceptance of project deliverables; resolution of claims; transfer of ownership; status of project id; project accounting audit and true-up; and final project report. - Cultivates and fosters a team environment.
