This position is eligible for up to $15,000.00 Sign on Bonus for those that qualify. ($7,500.00 for those with less than one year of experience) Position Summary: Responsible for the delivery of resident care through the nursing process of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Guides resident teaching and the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Understands and adheres to GCMC’s Compliance Standards as they appear in GCMC’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and GCMC regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Education, License & Cert: • Graduate of a licensed practical nursing program with a certificate in nursing Experience: • Entry level graduate of licensed practical nursing program and licensed or a permit in New York State. - Current NYS registration/license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required - Current BLS‐CPR Certification required Essential Functions: 1) Provides safe and accurate nursing care and other therapeutic measures according to policy and procedures. a) Able to explain rat...
