Responsibilities: The Cost Subject Matter Expert will support Barrow Wise's State of Maryland project and perform the following duties: - Develop a cost report that details the planning process for transmission in PJM, how the costs of transmission projects are allocated among PJM zones, how transmission rates for Maryland customers have increased, and how approved transmission projects will impact rates for Maryland residential customers. - Develop a description of how transmission rates are established and charged in Maryland; - Review the transmission costs for PJM zones in Maryland since 2010. - Review of the types of projects that have been built or approved to be built in Maryland, the planning process for each type of project, whether the projects have been subject to a competitive process, and what regulatory oversight is afforded to each...
