The individual in this position will also be expected to provide coverage for the Dixie/Levy CHD front desks, as needed. This front desk position completes duties according to the Florida Department of Health policies and procedures. This position is supervised and evaluated by the Administrative Assistant II. Answers multi-line phone system. Assists clients with information regarding Health Department programs, services and eligibility requirements. Directs customers to other programs and or organizations for services as needed. Schedules appointments in HMS for clients either on the phone or in person and enters client demographic information. Requests clients to bring required documents to their appointment. Checks in clients, evaluates family income and or third-party insurance coverage....
