Position Overview A Bay Area property management company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform repair and maintenance (R&M) work across a portfolio of historic apartment buildings throughout San Francisco. This role requires strong multi-trade experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting residents and internal teams. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining clean workspaces, communicating effectively with tenants, and delivering high-quality repairs across a wide variety of residential building systems. Key Responsibilities: - Respond to maintenance service requests across multiple apartment communities throughout San Francisco - Troubleshoot and repair residential heating systems including: - Top-vent wall heaters - Standing gas heaters - Radiator and hydronic systems - Electric and baseboard heaters Perform plumbing repairs including: - Fixture replacements - Water heater troubleshooting and repairs - Piping and radiator system diagnostics Complete electrical repairs such as: - Installing fixtures - Replacing switches, breakers, and receptacles - Servicing electrical wall heaters and timers - Repair a...
