OVERVIEW: Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Bridge Lift Operator for the Deep Creek Bridge Replacement Project , in Chesapeake, VA . The Bridge Lift Operator’s primary function is to initiate and oversee the mechanical sequence that raises and lowers the bridge to allow for the passage of marine vessels or to facilitate specific construction phases. They will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of moveable bridge spans (bascule, vertical lift, or swing bridges). Our employees are built to succeed.
