Tax Associate

Job description

A24 is seeking a Tax Associate to work within the Accounting Team and assist with all tax related matters. You will be responsible for liaising with external tax consultants and return preparers to ensure local, state, federal and international tax issues are being handled accurately and efficiently, as well as working with A24's internal team to anticipate any areas of new tax exposure and help ensure A24 is run in a tax-efficient manner. You will also assist in monitoring current and impending changes to tax laws and regulations and help to implement appropriate updates to policies and strategies. Additionally, you will assist in driving efficiencies through continual evaluation of our systems and business processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assist with partnership and corporate taxation from a planning, compliance, and reporting perspective - Provide relevant company details to third party preparers of US local, state, federal and international income tax returns and other business tax related filings - Assist with the ongoing sales tax compliance process for both physical and digital goods - Maintain the tax calendar to ensure timely payments and filin...
