POSITION OVERVIEW : A short description of the general purpose of the position The Senior Energy Control Manager provides enterprise-level leadership for all electrical and mechanical energy control activities across construction and commissioning operations. This role is responsible for the implementation, standardization, and performance of the Hazardous Energy Control Program (HECP), with a primary focus on MEP systems, energization planning, commissioning safety, and high-risk energy management. This position leads the Energy Marshal Program across all sites, establishing clear expectations, technical standards, and consistent execution of energy control practices. The Senior Manager ensures compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA regulations, and LOTO requirements while embedding SafeState and Energy-Based Safety (EBS) principles into field operations. Working closely with Commissioning, Operations, and Project Leadership, this role drives consistency, accountability, and risk reduction during energization, testing, and system startup activities.
