Responsibilities and Expectations: The purpose of this job description is to give new employees an overview of what is expected of Store Manager at Hot Spot Stores. The following list is not all-inclusive, the position may be asked to perform other duties, especially those that are not considered usual and customary in the convenience store industry. Store Manager must report to the Area Manager for assistance and guidance. Store Operations: - Be able to perform all duties of a Assistance Store Manager. • Ensure prompt reconciliation of store operations paperwork. - Be enthused about helping other store employees. - Must be able to step in when other employees need assistance or guidance. - Forecast, order, stock and merchandise product. - Possess good management skills. - Follow company policies and procedures as well as state and local laws concerning alcohol, tobacco, money orders, ephedrine sales, and lottery sales. - Ensure prompt reconciliation of store operations paperwork. - The ability to recruit, lead, train and motivate store employees, while having the ability to enforce accountability to achieve profitable results. - Must be able to handle any operational and personnel...
