Seasonal Lifeguard

Job description

Description We are looking for certified lifeguards to join our team at The Vineyards Apartments located at Butler Hill and I-tt. The pool hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. (closed on Mondays and during times of inclement weather) from May 23rd through September 7th. We offer somewhat of a flexible schedule, ideally with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours each day, staffing two lifeguards or a lifeguard and a pool attendant to be present during the pool hours each day. Core responsibilities are: - Opening and closing the pool each day according to scheduled hours - Regularly treat the pool with the correct amount of chemicals - Remains at the pool and closely monitors activities, identifying any safety issues; insures pool rules and guidelines are being followed - Directing swimmers out of water in dangerous conditions - Closely monitoring weather reports to make sure guests remain safe Maintain a clean pool environment: - Folds and stores chairs and umbrellas at sundown - Picks up rubbish in the pool area - May participate in draining, cleaning, and refilling the pool and changing pool filters. - Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed Work En...
