Software Engineer Manager, RCS Video

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience in software development. - 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products. - 5 years of experience with Android application development. - 3 years of experience with software design and architecture. - Experience programming in Kotlin. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. - Experience with real-time communication technologies, particularly WebRTC, including Interactive Connectivity Establishment (ICE), Session Traversal Utilities for NAT (STUN), Traversal Using Relays around NAT (TURN), Session Description Protocol (SDP), Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP). - Experience building distributed systems and backend services, and familiarity with gRPC and protocol buffers. - Familiarity with video/audio codecs and media processing. - Knowledge of security protocols such as DTLS, MLS, and experience with end-to-end encryption. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with understanding of telecommunication standards like SIP and MSRP.
