Career Site Header Job Summary: The Senior Data Engineer is a key resource in building and maintaining a modern enterprise data lake and data warehouse in Sun’s Azure data platform. They will facilitate modern data platform processes and procedures for Sun and will establish robust data governance and management best practices. The Sr. Data Engineer works under the leadership of the Manager, Data Architecture to ensure core enterprise data objectives are accounted for in the design and implementation of the data platform infrastructure. Further, they will liaison with key business leadership and stakeholders to ensure that the design, validation, and implementation of the new data platform infrastructure meets the needs of Sun’s business.
