Job DetailsJob Location: Great Lakes Division Plant 1 - Sparta, MI 49345Position Type: Full-TimeJob Shift: 1st Shift JOB TITLE: Die Setter: CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt: DIVISION/DEPARTMENT: Great Lakes / Die Cast DATE DEVELOPED: 11/2023: REPORTS TO: Die Cast Supervisor: DOTTED LINE MANAGER: Operations Manager: POSITION SCOPE: Perform all necessary functions related to installing and removing die cast and trim dies and miscellaneous equipment. Responsible for leading the die setting team and ensuring processes, procedures, and safety guidelines are being adhered to. Monitors and continuously works to improve daily production outputs in accordance to targeted goals. Works to continuously improve all outputs related to die sets. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Remove die cast and trim dies. Set up die cast and trim dies. Able to set up die cast dies per process book instructions. Capable of removing stuck parts from dies as needed. Able to set up spray per process books, set up robots, and get 1st piece ready for production. Participate in problem solving techniques related to die setting. Ensure die set up sheets are accurately filled out and submit paperwork on-time. Detects a...
