At Birnie Plumbing & Drains, our Service Dispatcher is a vital team member who prioritizes urgent customer needs, manages technician schedules, keeps customers informed throughout the day, and matches the right technician to the right job, ensuring that each service call runs smoothly from start to finish. Key job tasks include: - Learn the business and learn how to prioritize the most urgent customer calls. - Manage the whereabouts and needs of technicians in the field. - Ensure a quality customer experience by relaying detailed and accurate information to the technicians in the field. - Record and report the service calls. - Update customers throughout the day on the technician’s progress. - Be professional and establish customer rapport. - Participate in training so that you grow and develop as a professional.
