GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the general direction of the Assistant Director of Public Works, to plan, organize, and direct all operations and functions of the Stormwater Services Division including developing, implementing, and evaluating programs, projects, and policies that support effective stormwater and floodplain management. Oversees compliance, education, and enforcement activities in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: This position exercises supervision over technical, maintenance, and clerical staff. IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Plans, directs, coordinates, and supervises all field activities of the Stormwater Services Division, including the operation and maintenance of stormwater facilities, infrastructure, and assets throughout the city. Administers and oversees the Stormwater Utility Fee Program. Manages and ensures compliance with state and federal stormwater permits. Provides leadership to create a structured, team-focused work environment. Performs managerial duties including payroll, timekeeping, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
