Shipping/Receiving Clerk - 2nd Shift

Description Job Summary: The job of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk is to work effectively and efficiently in a warehouse environment to receive and ship materials, supplies and products, including developing a working knowledge of warehouse organization and creating proper and detailed shipping documentation. Verifies counts, confirms quality conformance and prepares all necessary paperwork and system transactions. Responsibilities of the Position: - Effectively uses available systems and technology to ship and receive materials in a timely manner. - Verifies material prior to shipment for accurate case quantity, correct labeling, quality conformance and packaging integrity. - Works with internal departments; Quality, Production, Client Services and Warehouse Management to report and resolve any issues or discrepancies. - Follows established procedures regarding checking in/out carriers. - Represents the company in interactions with client carrier partners. - Treats internal and external partners respectfully.
