About the position The Refrigerant Group in Carrier’s Mechanical Center of Excellence is seeking a motivated, results-oriented and experienced engineer to join our team based in East Syracuse, NY . As a Principal Engineer in the Refrigerant Group, you will be a key member of the team providing advanced refrigerant evaluation and development to Carrier’s global HVAC&R portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to lead modeling-centered system technology evaluation and strategy development. In addition, you will participate in industry research and standards development for future refrigerants and products. You will collaborate with other technology experts, modeling and simulation experts, product design groups, supply chain partners, and others to develop new refrigerants and system technologies to improve the performance, cost, reliability, and sustainability of Carrier products.
