POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for delivery and documentation of professional occupational therapy services to agency patients in accordance with an established physician plan of care and in compliance with applicable licensure/certification requirements, professional occupational therapy acts, and agency policies and procedures. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy. Minimum Work Experience One year of clinical experience in occupational therapy in an acute care or rehabilitation setting with exposure to geriatric and medical/surgical patients. Required Licenses/Certifications Current licensure in occupational therapy as required by the state of Texas. Valid Texas driver's license with available and dependable transportation and proof of current automobile liability insurance. CPR certified. Evidence of current registration by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills.
