Job Description Summary: Job Description: LIBA 250X: VISUAL PHYSICS: Course description: Focusing on classical mechanics, light, and sound, this course employs observational and experimental approaches to reasoning in the physical sciences to demonstrate and visualize the workings of non-living systems. Course goals subject to adjustment by instructor: In this course students will explore motion mechanics, perception, and energy transfer as well as the behaviors of light and sound. Grounded in Newtonian physics, but without the need for calculus, this course will develop students’ understanding of natural laws bounding systems behavior and their ability to apply physical principles to broadly defined motion designs.
