Job description

Apex Building Products in Bendigo is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to help lead a safe, efficient, and productive warehouse. We are looking for a leader who is hands-on, leads from the front, and enjoys being actively involved in the day-to-day operation alongside their team. Key Responsibilities: Factory Operations: - Oversee and run daily operations while meeting customer demands and production targets. - Handle ad-hoc issues with a calm hand and focus on problem solving. - Manage production staff (15-20 people), including hiring, training, and performance management, to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce. - Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the production process while implementing best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs), Quality Assurance: - Implement and enforce quality control measures and standards to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. - Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues and non-conformities.
