Job Description Summary Job Description: Qualifications/Requirements: - Provide onsite and remote technical direction to site personnel and customers. - Prepare job planning documents that define the work scope being performed through engineering instructions, drawings, and process instructions. - Provide leadership to skilled labor performing work on customer sites. - Troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for a wide range of equipment such as power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems, and motors. - Troubleshoot electrical problems in the substations on wind and solar plants. - Perform administrative functions such as writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, and preparing job completion reports to customers. - Exercise good judgment in controlling costs. - Maintain strong safety mindset at all times. - Must live with 100 miles of Arlington Oregon. - High School Diploma / GED Desired Characteristics: GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
