About the role Based on the vibrant UOW campus, you’ll be a key part of the UniShop team—bringing strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and a passion for customer service to help position UniShop as the go-to destination for textbooks, books, and literary experiences. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of textbook operations while also contributing to events, community engagement, and the overall growth of the bookshop. In the role you will: Contribute to visual merchandising and ensure the shop reflects current trends in books - Build and maintain strong relationships with academic staff, publishers, suppliers, and the wider community - Coordinate and process academic course materials and textbook requirements - Manage book ordering, inventory levels, and ensure stock accuracy - Support the delivery of an exceptional in-store and online customer experience - Plan and deliver engaging internal and external book events - Lead and grow the UniShop Book Club, including monthly selections and sessions About you: You are passionate about books and understand the industry, from publishers to trends and events.
