Press Brake Operator- Nights (SMD)

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Press Brake Operator to join our SMD team. In this hands-on role, you will operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal according to engineering specifications. Your precision and efficiency will directly contribute to the production of components used in critical infrastructure systems worldwide. Team Support: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and resolve issues as they arise. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Machine Operation: Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal parts in accordance with production drawings and work orders. - Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints and layout drawings to determine required machine settings, bend sequences, and part dimensions. - Tooling & Adjustment: Select appropriate dies and tooling; make necessary machine adjustments to maintain part accuracy and quality. - Quality Control: Measure and inspect completed parts using calipers, gauges, and templates to ensure they meet required specifications. - Documentation: Maintain production records and ensure accurate reporting of part counts, rework, and downtime. - Maintenance & S...
