Job description

- $44.41 per hour + overtime opportunities - Location, Eskine Park, NSW - Full-time Permanent role The Opportunity: - Repair, maintain and construct steel components for the fixed plant, equipment and other structures including a fleet of trucks - Construct pressure vessels, tanks, storage bins, large pipework, etc - Set up and operate hand tools, including but not limited to flame-cutting torches, drills, grinders, clamps - Undertake tasks involving specialist measuring equipment and hand tools - Maintain, clean, repair & and paint waste containers and equipment - Joining metal sections together by welding, bolting and riveting - Examines welds for width of bead, penetration and precision, and performs necessary repairs or reworks - Studies blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine fabrication job requirements - Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as necessary - The opportunity to program machinery or computer-aided fabrication tools to optimise the metal fabrication process - Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used - Work in collaboration with contractors and other trade professionals where required About...
