The Opportunity An opportunity has become available for a Submissions Manager for Downer’s Energy & Utilities business unit reporting to the Head of Submissions. Working primarily on bids in the energy and industrial sector, you will be responsible for developing winning tenders and proposals. You may also support bids across water, power transmission, utilities networks and telco sectors as required. You will work closely with bid managers in the Energy & Utilities pre-contracts teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) in our operational businesses to write the non-priced schedules for expressions of Interest, requests for tenders and other bid-related responses, in both Australia and New Zealand. This role requires significant levels of content writing. Candidates must have a high level of capability in writing and editing technical content, and a strategic mindset to capturing compelling solutions.
