Job description

Position Purpose: Assist in the timely production of all welded parts and ensure welds being completed are within acceptable quality standards. Essential Functions: - Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at the required production and quality level as instructed. - Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts. - Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed. - Accurately report daily activities on work orders and Kan Ban cards and other media as required. - Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment. - Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards. - Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of personal protective equipment. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor/Area Leader. Education and Training: - High School Diploma/GED required. - Prior welding experience, required Minimum Qualifications: - Ability to pass 2G MIG welding certification test. - Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment - Must follow all safety practices and policies. - Able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tole...
