Overview Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Technician (PSTS-2026-24857): Bowhead seeks to network with a Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Technician for a future or upcoming tasking to provide Base Telecom Support at the Whidbey Island, WA. The Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Technician effort will provide telecommunications operations and maintenance (O&M). This position will require both in office and infield experience and duties. On job and verification training is offered for all full time Bowhead employees after 30 days of employment. Responsibilities: Job duties incude but are not limited to: - Operate and maintain government-owned telephony switches (PBX) , including: - Nortel Meridian Option 81C Perform: - Troubleshooting and repair of switch issues - Software updates and patching - Installation and configuration of switch hardware - Daily operation monitoring - Support for voicemail systems and IPE (Remote Intelligent Peripheral Equipment) - Utilize company vehicle to travel to remote locations weekly. - Ensure switch systems remain fully operational and compliant with DoD/Navy standards. - Other duties as assigned.
