Surgical Technologist I or II - Gynecology Team -50% to 100% - ( 26001967 ) Description Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on incentive of up to $5,000. Current UI Health Care employees not eligible. The University of Iowa Heath Care Department of Perioperative Services, is seeking 50% to 100% Surgical Technologists I or II for the Gynecology Team . Surgical Technologists assist with surgical procedures, provision of therapeutic, preventive, and emergency patient care duties. Prepares, operates, and maintaines routine and complex equipment, instruments, supplies and implants. All duties are done under the direction of a registered professional nurse. Duties to include: Percent of Time: 50% to 100% Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8, 10 or 12-hour shifts scheduled between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., additional on-call shifts, occassional weekends and holiday rotation. Location: University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center - operating rooms.
