Shipper - Receiver

Job description

The Shipper / Receiver is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all products that are received and/or shipped out of a specific location during the assigned shift. During their shift, Shipper/ Receivers work together in three main functions of the department: receiving, inventory control and cooler operations and shipping. They will work to company guidelines with respect to quality control, safety, and standard operating procedures to execute an accurate and on-time shipping function under the direction of shipping operations leadership. This position reports to the Shipping & Receiving Manager in charge of a given shift (AM, MID, PM) in Boston. - Assist with the flow of goods; shipping and receiving of product - Obtain and process product orders - Receive, register and distributing packages and letters within the company - Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items - Assist with large shipments and planning of the logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items - Keep files of goods shipped and received - Ensure that the right products are delivered to that right location, on time - Assist with...
