Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Trading Operations Engineer to join one of our trading teams. Responsibilities: - Monitoring high-volume live trading and portfolio risk - Contributing to the automated trading operations codebase - Managing ongoing projects with various Tower support teams - Coordinating software and hardware upgrades - Applying programmatic solutions to scale and expand trading operations - Resolving discrepancies with trading positions, broker statements, and internal applications Qualifications: - The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a related field, and a bachelor’s degree - Proficient scripting skills in Python and an intermediate understanding of a Linux environment - Exceptional analytical abilities, strong communications skills, and experience making data-driven strategic decisions - Strong working knowledge of PNL and Risk reporting applications - Familiarity with current market structure and regulatory developments - Ability to analyze and optimize order entry and market data exchange connectivity - Ability to comprehend and diagnose problems in complex real-time systems with minima...
