Reports To: Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor Position Overview A VM Maintenance Laborer assists Mechanics in maintaining all rolling stock at Marmot Basin. These assets include but are not limited to : Snow Cats, Snowmobiles, Busses, Fleet Vehicles and other various equipment. The incumbent should expect to be working inside and outside in any, all and sometimes adverse weather conditions. This is a full-time seasonal role, 4 days out of 7 per week, 10 hours per day from May through to October each summer season. Please note that you may not receive full-time hours at the beginning/ end of the season. Alberta Employment Standards regarding a ninety-day probationary period applies. Requirements: Attributes: Qualifications: - Must be 18 years or older - Class 5 Alberta drivers licence - Must produce clean Alberta driving abstract - Must possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude - Must be able to lift 50lbs and at times repetitively - Must enjoy working outdoors with a team and by themselves - Enjoy learning about mechanics. - Ability to be a great environmental steward to Jasper National Park - Must be able to operate ATV’s and Side by Sides - Physically Fit -...
