This position will require Saturday morning shifts, and some hours during scheduled summer camps.* Overview: The Care Coordinator works in collaborate with the Newport News Public Schools' Health Services Supervisor to provide professional nursing care to both students and staff at An Achievable Dream Academy, Middle and High School. Performs and interprets health screenings, assesses student's health care needs, administers medication, classroom education and health counseling. The Living Healthy well care model will be used to provide facilitation of individualized goal achievement to improve health and wellness for students and staff. Initiates programs for development and implementation based on clinic needs.
