Staff Accountant

Job description

The Staff Accountant plays a key role within Malin’s Finance Department by supporting day ‑ to ‑ day accounting activities, month ‑ end close processes, The position provides hands ‑ on experience with general ledger maintenance, inventory accounting, and operational support. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare routine journal entries and perform account reconciliations - Support the accounting team in month end close process and reporting - Assist with daily inventory reconciliation and maintenance in alignment with sales operations. - Support sales operations through processing Customer Sales Invoices, Vendor Credits and Buy-Outs. - Assist in gathering support and documentation for internal and external audits - Contribute to process improvement initiatives and standardization efforts across the Finance Department - Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies - Ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.
