2nd Shift Wax Group Leader

Summary Oversee that required wax batches are made in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to Wax Dept. personnel. Serve as back up to Wax Supervisor as required. Role and Responsibilities: · Develop Component Knowledge · Utilize batch sheets and standard formulas to accurately identify and measure amounts and weigh each of the components for each job when required. Complete all necessary paperwork thoroughly and accurately to meet company and customer SOP’s · Combine components in tanks to produce and supply wax batches for fill lines · Maintain accurate records of Item ID numbers on drums or other temporary containers to track fragrance and other components used · Work with supervisor to anticipate and meet production demands, including reviewing and adjusting if necessary the wax tech work schedule · Maintain records for proper and accurate inventory control of wax department components utilizing barcode labels, O2 guns, and the ERP system · Leads the shift in maintaining the condition of equipment and tools assigned to the area as well as cleanliness and organization of the area to assure a safe working environment · Cross train a...
