Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Security Manager or designate, the Surveillance Operator position is responsible for daily monitoring and observation of Casino operations, while ensuring the security and integrity of Casino assets, staff and guests. A Surveillance Operator ensures adherence to the company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian Gaming’s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Surveillance Operators will also conduct routine checks of the gaming floor and act as a support to other gaming departments in relation to the protection of company assets. Attention to detail and sound observation skills are critical when conducting reviews, writing and completing reports and logs that could be used for evidence in legal proceedings. In this role, one must enforce and comply with Alcohol and Gaming Commission and OLG standards.
