Civil Engineer – Mid Level (Hybrid)

Job description

The role - what you'll do This position supports project teams on civil engineering and related technical assignments, primarily focused on design for power generation, mining, and industrial site development, including design of buried utilities, with opportunities to support other sectors as needed. Responsibilities include project planning and management; civil design and analysis; CADD modeling; preparation of construction plans, specifications, and spreadsheets; and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Additional duties may involve site grading and layout, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, report writing and large report support, construction cost estimating, construction management and observation, and facility inspections. A successful person in this role will have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. They must possess a flexible working style and be willing to occasionally modify their schedule to meet deadlines and/or client needs.
