Job description

The Supervisor/Auto Shop is responsible for supervising and administering division automotive shops and transportation fleet activities within Company policies and procedures. POSITION DIMENSIONS: Reporting directly to this position are up to five non-exempt employees. The incumbent may be directly or indirectly responsible for a budget, typically ranging from $1MM to $10MM, but may vary depending on project complexity or management approval. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Direct and oversee the maintenance of division fleet vehicles and equipment. Ensure compliance with Company policy, manufacturer standards, and local, federal and state regulations - Administer third party contracts for automotive parts needs, automotive repairs, equipment repairs, body repairs and factory warranty issues - Supervise multi-location Company auto shop and clerical support staff, including full utilization of shop staff, tools and equipment - Assist district operations with fleet maintenance program and activities - Represent the division on the Transportation Committee.
