Maintenance Supervisor

Job description

Overview The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to plan, direct, coordinate and otherwise manage the efforts of the people and the processes involved in procuring, installing and maintaining the equipment and building to the extent of full OSHA compliance and high effectiveness. The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for managing the Hazardous Waste Management and related programs. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate the efforts of Maintenance personnel and Tool Room attendant to ensure equipment is available and working effectively so that the production line meets or exceeds production goals. Delegate tasks, instruct and monitor the performance of department personnel. - Follow all regulatory processes for proper Hazardous Waste Management and related programs including training, reporting and storage requirements. Communicate about issues with and ensure proper training for necessary people (usually Spray Painters and Material Handlers) regarding Hazardous Waste Management.
