Description The Tire Changer/ General Mechanic position is responsible for the following: - Mechanical background preferred - General maintenance of vehicles - Mounting Tires - Painting - Running for parts, picking up trucks, drivers, etc. - Any positions needed in the garage Requirements: Competencies: - High School diploma or GED - Valid driver’s license, Clean Driver’s record, and reliable transportation - Employment is conditional on verification of clean driving record, background check(s), and pre-employment/random drug testing - Communication - Technical and mechanical skills - Capable of working independently Available Benefits: - Comprehensive benefits package - 401(k) and profit sharing - Paid holidays & vacation/sick time Supervisory Responsibility: - None Work Environment: This job operates in the field, both indoors and outdoors depending on the scope of work Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
